What to do in Matosinhos during the Winter<\/b> <\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n

One of the great attractions of Matosinhos is the coastal area, which during the hot months offers the possibility of going to the beach and doing water sports. On each corner, there is a terrace where you can drink a refreshment and sunbathe, but during the colder months, it can be more difficult to spend your time outdoors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Matosinhos, being a northern and coastal city, can have a large number of rainy days. When the weather is not conducive to outdoor programs, we tend to stay at home and out of ideas for new activities. Today, we give you some suggestions for activities you can do in Matosinhos during the winter.<\/p>\n

Our first proposal is a visit to the Super Bock Casa da Cerveja. It is an interactive museum dedicated to beer, located at Unicer facilities in Le\u00e7a do Balio.<\/p>\n

The second suggestion is a family visit to SEA LIFE Porto, an aquarium. SEA LIFE is located in the City Park of Porto, next to Gon\u00e7alves Zarco square. There are about 3000 sea creatures of over 100 different species.<\/p>\n

Even without the terraces, you can take advantage of the city’s restaurants to go for a snack with friends or family. When winter arrives, nothing better than enjoying a hot chocolate in the comfort of a cosy space. Thanks to its privileged location, the Mouzinho de Albuquerque Building has several facilities around. Among other places of interest, many cafes with delicious hot chocolates.<\/p>\n

Finally, if you like culture, you can visit the Municipal Gallery of Matosinhos. Its mission is to disseminate, promote, create and enhance modern and contemporary art, with particular emphasis on Portuguese art, in its different domains: painting, sculpture, design, photography and other expressions of the plastic arts.<\/p>\n
